How Windows 8 would look if you ported it to your coffee table [video]

Microsoft’s (MSFT) Surface may be a great device, but compared to this it just looks puny. YouTube user slymick has posted a new video that shows Windows 8 ported onto a coffee table-sized multitouch screen and shows core mobile apps such as Google (GOOG) Maps and Angry Birds scaled to mammoth proportions. The one downside of putting Windows 8 onto a 40-inch screen seems to be that it makes pinch-to-zoom somewhat more laborious as slymick had to do multiple finger pinches on a couple of occasions to get certain objects to the size he wanted.
