Following BGR’s exclusive report that HTC (2498) is planning to launch  a new 5-inch smartphone on Verizon Wireless (VZ) this fall, we have seen a number of alleged specs and images of the rumored device. Long-time HTC modder and XDA-developers forum member “Football,” who has reported accurate details surrounding unannounced devices in the past, confirmed additional specs on his Twitter page on Monday. According to the XDA member, HTC’s “DLX” will feature a 5-inch 1080p display, a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 2,500 mAh non-removable battery. Previous rumors have indicated that the device could be marketed as the DROID Incredible X and will run Sense 5 atop Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
