32GB Google Nexus 7 accidentally shipped to Japanese customer who bought 16GB model

32GB Google Nexus 7 Confirmation

Even with stiff competition from Amazon (AMZN) and Barnes & Noble (BKS), Google’s (GOOG) Nexus 7 is arguably the best 7-inch tablet on the market right now. The only downside to the Jelly Bean-powered tablet is that it only comes in two models: 8GB and 16GB. That’s fine for downloading a few light games and digital books, but it’s not enough for storing tons of HD video. We’ve heard that a 32GB model could launch as early as October 24th, and now Japanese Twitter user “oppese” has posted photos of a Google slip-up that more or less confirms that a higher capacity Nexus 7 is real. Oppese claims that instead of getting a 16GB Nexus 7, he received a 32GB model. Pictures of the purported 32GB Nexus 7 follow below.
