Meebo on Monday announce that is has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Google. “For more than seven years we’ve been helping publishers find deeper relationships with their users and to make their sites more social and engaging,” the company wrote on its website. “Together with Google, we’re super jazzed to roll up our sleeves and get cracking on even bigger and better ways to help users and website owners alike.” AllThingsD last month reported that Google was in talks to acquire the advertising and messaging service for around $100 million. It is rumored that the Meebo team may be integrated into the Google+ team following the completion of Google’s acquisition.
