T-Mobile SpringBoard hands-on

Tablets

We are on the CTIA Enterprise & Applications show floor in San Diego and just quickly swung by Huawei’s booth to check out one of T-Mobile’s latest tablets, the SpringBoard. This Huawei-built slate is definitely one of the best looking 7-inch tablets we’ve seen yet. The back and sides of the tablet feel like aluminum and, while it’s a bit heavy like the T-Mobile G-Slate, the SpringBoard’s thin form factor adds to its attractiveness. The tablet runs Android Honeycomb and is equipped with a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5-megapixel camera capable of recording 720p HD video and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. T-Mobile has yet to announce pricing or a launch date, but we’re definitely looking forward to spending more time with the SpringBoard. Be sure to check out the photo gallery below.

Are you guys planning on correcting your story on the Samsung Google Nexus delay?

9to5google dot com has already disproved it. You see, they actually thought to check the story out, even after publishing it.

TMO – you are pathetic.  Get the fucking iPhone and iPad or continue the slow march to oblivion.

I smell a lawsuit over the name of the tablet from Apple since they happen to name their hoemscreen the Springboard. This could be apple just trying to protect confusion with their name. If they have trademarked it then this could be a lawsuit. I hope this isn’t the case but…. Oh and it does look a lot like an ipad at least looking from Apple’s point of view :(

Where have I seen black bands separating parts of the side of a device before?
