iPhone 4S and Siri shown off in 9-minute YouTube review [video]

mobile

A short video showcasing Apple’s new iPhone 4S surfaced on Monday, and now we have our first full “YouTube review” of a handset that was seemingly delivered ahead of schedule. YouTube user applemastertouch has posted a video walk-through that is nearly 9 minutes long. In it, he shows off Apple’s brand new smartphone and gives us a thorough look at the device’s most highly anticipated new feature, Siri. Other iOS 5 features make appearances as well, but Siri is the clear star of the show as we see various commends that can — and cannot — be acted on by Apple’s new personal assistant feature. While over a million consumers anxiously await delivery of their iPhone 4S handsets, hit the break for a taste of things to come.

    Seriously?

Android could do those things 2 years ago.
Hold down the magnifying “search button” and ask the same questions.  It doesn’t speak back to you, but really people?  Really?Geezus.

Android did this 2 years ago.

Hold down the magnifying glass search button, and ask the same questions.

    Same results, sans voice.

If you think Siri is just voice commands, you’re wrong.

And Siri (the app) wasnt nearly what this is promising to be.

Google didn’t invent voice commands, and Siri isn’t simply voice commands.

It was originally developed for the military, an AI project by DARPA the people who brought you the Internet.

This will spawn to a whole new revolution of D-Bag isheep. At least Siri has a female voice so Isheep will finally be able to get a response from a woman

Unless Siri can magically produce a 4G radio and NFC on this phone I will be waiting for something else. Apple has genius marketing because their devices are always behind the curve it seems.
