Images of new iPhone 5 cases again show dramatic redesign

We’re just hours away of putting the rumors and speculation to bed, but that leaves plenty of time left for companies to try to get in on the action. Next up to the trough: Hard Candy Cases. The case maker has posted images of its upcoming iPhone 5 cases, which include a render of Apple’s supposed iPhone 5. The device can be seen above with a wider home button, a slightly different shape and a larger edge-to-edge display that frames a screenshot of iOS 3.0 quite nicely. The case renders are similar to earlier pictures of iPhone 5 cases published by Case-Mate, and those were quickly removed from the manufacturer’s site after we posted them here on BGR. Is this what the iPhone 5 will look like? We’ll all find out in just over two hours.

    Oh BGR … Sensationalizing things that need not be. This isnt a “dramatic redesign”, it follows directly in the footsteps of the iPod Touch, the MacBook Air and the current iPhone 4. A redesign would be something like the iPhone 4 was to the iPhone 3G/3Gs… This is just the evolutionary path, nothing “dramatic” or “redesigned” about it.

      You won’t miss it for long. New gear and rumors of new gear and rumors of rumored new gear is what keeps these blogs going and it is what keeps you and everyone of us coming back. New iPads are next or updated new iMac and MacBook something or others.

      One ends just in time for another to begin again.

    BGR is still holding on to the iPhone 5 pipe dream.  It ain’t happening.  The “5″ was just a prototype all this time.  Will someone at this blog please eat some crow and admit that they posted that Sprint exclusive iPhone 5 story yesterday just to bring more eyeballs to the site?

    Sooo when HTC or Samsung brings out another new device, you are quick to say they are all “black slates”
    When BB redesigns are released you say they all “look the same”

    But this is a drastic redesign?  Let’s take a look shall we?

    There’s a screen.

    There’s 1 button on the front (which is bigger now – or is that the magical change this time?).

    The phone will come in black. Maybe white as well.

    my question is why did sprint pay 20 billion for this,didn’t they see the phone before signing on …yeah you the 4s and have to give them 20 really large
