Apple iOS 5 hitting on October 12th

Apple’s iOS 5 will be released on October 12th for the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad, iPad 2 and the last two iPod touch generations. We’re expecting the Gold Master to be released for developers later today. Apple’s free iOS 5 software update brings over 200 new features to the platform including some big ones like redone notifications, iMessage, built-in Twitter integration, Newsstand and more.

      name me a phone that sells more than the iPhone 4 or 3GS in unit sales worldwide, and then Apple should try to kill it.   

      The better question:  What phone will kill the iOS5/iPhone4S combination? What’s killing App Store?  Who’s destroying iTMS?

      No need to be a killer if you’re the leader, unless there is a clear and present danger.

      As for innovation, sometimes it’s just putting together the system that makes all the existing parts work better.

    Apple can be anything except being innovative.
    Over the last few years they made only ONE PRODUCT called Ipod touch running iOS, they turn it to a phone, called it IPhone, made it bigger and called it IPad. And the surprising thing is, starting from IShit 1 going to IShit 4 the design changes are very MINOR, hardware and software, and the more surprising thing is, the people will run to the Apple store to buy the new Ishit they release.
