LOL, typical Apple milking the hell out of their old devices…

“The iPhone 5 wouldn’t have quite been a year behind technology-wise if we launched it now, so we’ll wait til next year to announce it. In the mean-time we’ll just re-sell our old device to our sheep. *Laughs all the way to the bank*”  -Apple’s logic

Homer, Homer, Homer- all the device manufactures are doing the same thing.

You have to admit, iOS 5 is pretty cool

Not really, I mean, the features are nice, but they’ve been on Android phones for years. I’m happy iOS users will finally enjoy some Android features, but that still leaves a lot to be desired from iOS 5. I mean, about the only thing that really stands out is Siri, but Google Voice Actions and Tasker can probably do that as well.

Other than that, is there anything else? Not really.

I hope this isn’t the phone Sprint bet the whole ship on..because if so they are going to get screwed. What a disappointment, shame on Apple.. had over a year of development and this is what you bring to the table?!

Well even though it’s not a big upgrade for people who already have iPhones it’s still a big deal to Sprint customers who were unable to get the iPhone before. Similar to what happened with Verizon, the iPhone 4 was obviously already out, then 6 months later Big Red gets it and it still shatters record sales for Verizon.

There’s no doubt the phone will sell people will just buy it b/c its from Apple but the keynote as a whole was horrible if it wasn’t Apple’s stock wouldn’t have dropped immediately after.

I think if Apple knew there wasn’t going to be an iPhone 5 unveiling yesterday they should have come out and said it earlier, instead they just let the anticipation build which they prob thought no
matter what they put out people would still be hype bc of anticipation but it actually
backfired on them bc people were expecting the iPhone 5. The only people really excited about this are Sprint users and they have a right to be but i think if Sprint invested 20 bil on this 4s they were dumb. Also that lackluster keynote from Apple left the door wide open for Samsung and Google to impress next week, so if Nexus Prime and ICS is as awesome as it’s being hyped to be..Apple may lose some customers

About the only things that are worthy in the iPhone 4S are the dual core processor w/ dual core graphics card, and Siri.

    Other than that, meh.

And even with that, I’m sure one of the Android OEMs will match the dual core graphics card spec, and you can pretty much do most of the Siri stuff with Google Voice Actions and Tasker,.

As for the LTE sucks right now guy? Please, LTE is amazing. Sure, some phone models have had trouble with LTE and battery (HTC looking at you), but Motorola’s Droid Bionic does not, and can actually get you through a full day. The speed is phenomenal as well.

I agree the Thunderbolt was a piece of shit, but of the available options, I’d choose the Revolution any day over the Bionic or the Tbolt.

Hey did anyone hear from Scroat? He is probally crying like a baby cause he thought apple was going to rule the world with this iphone 5! Such a loser….. TRue Story..

  • Sosthulet

next update is Apple IPhone 4GS before IPhone 5.  I have a feeling they are following the IPhone trend.

And perhaps in a sign of bad things to come to Sprint’s network with it’s unlimited data plans, sprint’s web site is DOWN right now!!! HAHAHA!!! I guess it couldn’t handle the traffic.

And why does this website along with the analysts look stupid now “apple will release two iphones the 4s and the iphone 5 to make up for lost marketshare” honestly apple marketshare is gone and done with.

    • http://apple.com Yes_iHave_an_iPhone

iOS 5 looks sweet. Even though the 4S wasn’t that great of an upgrade, I still think the software made it a big day.

Hey assholes, what about that super solid industry source of yours? HAHAHA pathetic.

Let’s keep it real – 4G isn’t that prevelant to consider relevant.

    • Anonymous

Whenever I’m on 4G I get disconnected every 3 minutes. I’m done with it.

      • http://about.me/brandonmccall brandonmccall

4G is simply a novelty at this point in the game.

      • http://twitter.com/JaredHylton Jared Hylton

Verizon’s LTE (4G) network isn’t a novelty — not at all.  In the areas that it has launched, it gets good solid signal, the speeds are through the roof, and the other services (calls, texts, mms etc) function well also.  Now that Clear shit Sprint tries to pass off?  Horrid.

    Bye T-Mobile.

Wonder what SPRINT has to say on Friday…3G iPhone lol

Maybe LTE World-phone is coming by Summer 2012 on VZW and AT&T, followed by a late Fall SPRINT LTE!

We sure set ourselves up on this one, time to R E L A X ;)

    Thank You

BGR with the iphone 5 bs…yeah ok lol. Anyway, Apple made enough ‘updates’ to keep people happy. I wonder if they will release the next iphone in June or this next time year…

  • Anonymous

I really hope Sprint didn’t pay 20 billion for the iPhone 4S

    • Anonymous

No it looks like that is for an iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S that will put them in equal footing with Verizon.

Sprint & Verizon will still be at a disadvantage as AT&T will still have a 3G S but going for free.

Looking forward to upgrading from EVO 4G to iPhone 4S. I’m tired of this big heavy phone and buggy OS.

    • Qtquentin

      Exactly!

  • J. Williams

Now people can have ‘real’ unlimited data…

working in the wireless industry this long has taught me more than my fair share about “humans”. You’re going to have one of two things…. Those who follow mindlessly into a brand and marketing, OR those who will NEVER be happy and always ask for new shit and/or bill credits.

Either way, I’m still selling it. My soul has a price, and that price is selling more iPhones to the ones who follow. When I’m not doing that, I’m pretending to listen to the “FanDroids” rip on iOS and how “amazeballs” it is, Apple sucks, here’s my bitchin’ custom ROM, “My battery life is terrible… Can I get a replacement?” BLAH BLAH….
You are all free to bitch, as those of us who sell you the phones, expects you to…
