A press photo of the next member of Sprint’s EVO family of devices was leaked recently by Pocketnow. The phone appears to borrow design aesthetics from T-Mobile’s Sensation 4G; the EVO Design 4G looks thinner than the EVO models that came before it. An earlier ROM leak suggested the EVO Design 4G will be equipped with a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread), a 4-inch display, a 5-megapixel camera capable of recording 720p video, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and 768MB of RAM, although those specs are not confirmed. As its name suggests, we also expect it will run on Sprint’s 4G WiMAX network. Sprint has yet to announce the HTC EVO Design 4G, so pricing and a release date are still unknown.
