No more lulz: FBI arrests LulzSec hackers following nationwide manhunt

Legal

The FBI has arrested at least two alleged members of “LulzSec” and “Anonymous,” FoxNews reported on Thursday. One LulzSec hacker was arrested at a technical school in Phoenix, Arizona and is believed to have been behind the infamous attacks on Sony in late May. A second hacker was arrested in San Francisco and manhunts are ongoing in Minnesota, Montana and New Jersey according to an FBI official speaking to Fox News. 32 Anonymous hackers were detained in Turkey in June while another 16 were arrested in the United Kingdom and the United States. A 19-year old LulzSec member named Jack Davis who went by the handle “Topiary” was arrested in July and later released on bail. Anonymous and LulzSec are believed to have been behind a number of high-profile attacks against the U.S. government, Sony, Apple and other targets. Anonymous has egged on the FBI with numerous statements over the past few months and even published a public letter that stated: “Your threats to arrest us are meaningless to us as you cannot arrest an idea … there is nothing – absolutely nothing – you can possibly to do make us stop.”

It had to happen. That’s the main problem with groups. When one (or more) member’s ego gets too inflated, and starts babbling in Twitter, FB, etc., that spells the end of the “group.” A secret is no secret when more than one person knows about it. On the other hand, the Feds are still trying to find out who’s responsible for the Conficker worm.

Ideas aren’t impossible to kill, just make it unattractive to the idiot masses. Which, is a fairly easy task given how TPTB are so adept at media manipulation and use for control.

And so the inflated egos of some hackers take another blow. These guys always act as if they are on a whole different level than everyone else. Unfortunately for them, now a whole lot of people who are better than them are looking.

The Hacker guide book states do not hack anybody with unlimited bank accounts who are willing to trace it back to you. They must of missed this statement. Second no wonder they hacked the State of Arizona Police department it was probably this guy that they caught at the technical school. All I have to say to you mates is dont worry facebook will always hire you once your done with jail.

I was going to dress up in a suit with the Anonymous mask for Halloween. Maybe not a good idea now that I am thinking of it ;)

Good. Now give them a trial and throw them in jail for a long time. Or will they be too busy calling their mommies asking them to please come pick them up?

They are naive thinking that a company would not give out the information once the feds get involved.
It was probably safer to do the bad stuff in a van outside a McDonald with free WiFi
