Apple’s Fall event set for October 4th, Tim Cook to unveil iPhone 5

mobile

We’re getting closer and closer. According to AllThingsD, Apple is currently planning to hold the company’s Fall event on October 4th. The report also notes that Apple CEO Tim Cook will be introducing the iPhone 5 most likely without Steve Jobs, though it’s certainly possible Jobs could attend. As far as availability: “Sources added that the plan is now to make the new device available for purchase within a few weeks after the announcement.” We’d suggest that Apple is just setting expectations a little too low and if we had to bet, we’d say that the iPhone 5 would be available within two weeks of the announcement, possibly even a week after.

Well, when you only have one phone product to sell you have to “sell the the sizzle”.  It’s just a phone for Gawd’s sake, not even the best of the bunch anymore.  Like it or not crApplecores, the rest of the developed world is now starting to overtake you; even RIM for crying out loud will be releasing their new ‘savior software’ next year that promises to be as good. crApple has shown themselves to very very good at selling the hype.  ho hum.

Here’s the funny thing… the YBCA calendar for the 3rd specifically says “There are no programs on Mon, October 3, 2011. The next day with upcoming programs is Tue, October 4, 2011.” But you go to the 4th, and there are no events different to what was shown on the 3rd!

So… Apple has the event scheduled, and told them to not show it on their page… but they might have given it away.

BGR, why does your headline report the Oct 4th data as a fact when this is an unconfirmed report by AllThingsD?

Seriously People. Morons will still stand in line for a few new gimmicks. The iphone is for simpletons. So yes you get a slightly bigger screen. Its only been 5 years! Slightly faster. Slightly more space which isnt even a selling point any more. The iphone was once revolutionary. It is far from that now. Its just another phone. That is evident by apples delay in release this year. Its hard to keep up when multiple carriers and handsets comeout during the ONE year it takes for apple to have another phone.

I just want iOS 5 for my iPhone 4. The iPhone 5 will be nice for some, but i’m waiting for an LTE model before I make the upgrade.

I expect to be wowed at this event for having to wait this long. I want to gasp for air at least two times.

I still cannot believe how Apple, after announcing the iPhone for the very first time, is STILL this massive incredible, eye to the news-pasting fascination!  It’s truly amazing how they have set themselves up for success.  I really am in Awe.  What other company/product has there been so much craze (or crave rather) for??  I honestly cannot remember. You cannot deny they are doing an incredible job.  And it only keeps getting better.   Well done!!!

I equate that to the general population has NO clue what is going on.  The US people are too dumb to think for themselves and they latch onto anything they can to feel cool.  Our society is rapidly declining.  Teens these days cannot communicate face-to-face because all they do is text.  Our world better end on Dec 21, 2012 because it will only get worse from here.

I just can’t believe how people fall for apples crap, releasing the 4 just less than a year ago and now a 5?,the thing still isn’t 4 g, and the processor is a single 1.2,nothing samsung hasn’t done already!
