AT&T prepares to offer white iPhone 4S according to report

mobile

We have seen plenty of rumors that suggest Apple will launch the iPhone 4s as a budget-friendly option alongside the iPhone 5, and now the device has reportedly been listed in one of AT&T’s internal systems. According to a screenshot published by Engadget, AT&T is gearing up to offer a white iPhone 4s, possibly alongside the existing iPhone 4. The iPhone 5 isn’t mentioned at all in the carrier’s system. Apple is largely expected to announce the iPhone 5, and perhaps the iPhone 4s, during a press event in October. Retail giant Best Buy is anticipating that the new iPhone will be offered by Sprint, and other rumors have suggested T-Mobile will carry the device as well.

To be fair to Apple, and I am not a fan after my crappy 3GS, the iPhone 4S is equivalent to owning a BB Curve, dated hardware with minor upgrades for today’s consumer

iOS 5, on the other hand is funny to go through all the new features.  People make fun of RIM so much over lack of innovation, but 98% of the new features of iOS 5 are original features in BB OS 6, so over a year ago?

I go to Engadget for phone innovation reports & technologies.

I come here to BGR for iPhone rumors/speculation/reviews of skins and scathing reports about how RIM is doing

    • Anonymous

Exactly but engadget is ruff towards RIM also since RIM threw them under the bus

This isn’t an AT&T system, but one used by the AT&T DSC’s 3rd party (they dont even service iPhones)
What is pictured isn’t an inventory system, but one designed to create trouble tickets.
A demonstration of how sites just post stuff without taking the time to research it :(
