BGR Summer Event

On Wednesday we had our very first BGR reader event, and it was a blast. Hundreds of people were lined up around the block, even in the rain, and we were finally able to connect with a lot of people who have been fans of the site for years. Thanks again to everyone that came out, and special thanks to Samsung as well. This is surely only the start of a bigger endeavor, so stay tuned!       ,, cant believe this,, I just got a $829.99 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HDTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prîces at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for.

    It was a fantastic event. I think I had 20 slices of pizza before the night finished up =D We came for the event and t meet John and Zach as well. Not even thinking about the raffle but my bro came out with a Galaxy S. Great photos too especially the one with all of us (black and white). Looking forward to the next one.

    Man I want to know how much BGR got paid for this… if you watch the video above… with no sound… you would have NO CLUE it was a “BGR Fan night”.

    It comes off pure Samsung event that BGR happened to show up to.

    If there was any doubt before, this event + the BGR day in the life cements their lack of neutrality and unbiased opinions.

    but in the end…. didn’t we all know this already?

    at least BGR doesn’t try to hide it anymore

    I went with a friend not expecting much. The event was amazing, I won a samsung galaxy tablet and met some great people.

    The event was great. I got a chance to meet Jonathan and he was even nice enough to take a picture with me. Everyone was polite and Avenue was a really nice place. I enjoyed it a lot and look forward to the next event if there is another.
