Verizon may soon launch its first 4G LTE smartphone with a full-QWERTY keyboard, the Samsung Straosphere SGH-I405, according to information and an image obtained by Pocketnow. The Samsung Stratosphere looks very similar to Sprint’s Epic 4G and will likely run Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread). Rumors suggest it could also offer a 5-megapixel camera, a 1.3-megapixel forward-facing camera for video chats and roughly 2GB of storage. We wouldn’t be surprised to see a Super AMOLED Plus display and a processor in the 800Mhz to 1GHz range, either. It is still unclear how much the Stratosphere will cost but the phone could hit store shelves as early as this week according to the report.
