Images of new purported iPhone 5 parts leak

mobile

China-based parts supplier TVC-Mall has published more images of various components claimed to be genuine parts from Apple’s upcoming iPhone 5. The supplier has gained access to genuine iPhone parts ahead of launch in the past, so it is possible that these components are once again authentic. Last week we saw what were claimed to be headphone jacks and camera lens replacement modules from Apple’s upcoming fifth-generation iPhone, and now TVC-Mall has posted images and information surrounding OEM rear camera lens assemblies, batteries and headphone jack flex cables said to belong to Apple’s iPhone 5. Little can be gleaned from the new images, though the camera lens module shows space for a single LED flash while earlier reports claimed that the new iPhone 5 would feature a dual-LED flash. More images of the purported iPhone 5 parts follow below.

The important thing to remember here is that DROID is still number 1 in overall market share and always will be.  Thankfully people love free stuff and the notion that higher number of megapixels and processor speed means better too!

who cares if droid is number 1, what matters is that everyone has their own preference, i personally hope that samsung buys webos and devotes the attention to the platform that it deserves, but more importantly i feel is that people do care about the parts, but want to see what the overall device is gonna look like… i mean, come on, a battery and a camera? that doesnt really get me excited. i dont know though, maybe thats just me…

I got an iPad 2-32GB for $ 23.87 and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $ 38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $ 657 which only cost me $ 62.81 to buy. I’m curious as to how you think all Android devices are free. Sure there are one of two devices per carrier that are cheap/free on contract but that doesn’t mean all Android phones are of poor quality. The bottom line here is that while the Android ecosystem is developing at leaps and bounds, Apple is only making advancements once a year. I prefer an environment where things are moving at a steady pace instead of hiccuping once a year with at best, on par hardware for the time.

PS: Apple is selling a cheap iPhone 4 when the 5 drops. Now you crying about “OMG ANDROID R FREE SO DATS Y DAY MAKE MUNY” will be irrelevant.

Ewww an 8meg camera and single LED flash. Seriously, iPhone will always be behind its competitors in both OS updates, hardware specs and innovation. Yeah 2007-2009 it ruled. Well its dominance is no longer, and Android is at least its equal, and will soon lead it in both market share and the number of pockets it occupies every single day. Mr jobs your phone is great(I had three of them) but your dominance is being whittle away!

    • IPwn

      That’s not a LED flash it’s xenon

        Yawn

OH MY GODDD!!!! FU*KING XENON???!!!!! Is that like kryptonite or something? This is a FIRST and so INNOVATIVE. Pushes the envelope to the extreme – nobody can top this!! Who would ever think to put xenon on a phone other than Apple!!! My God…..

iPhone 5 comes out and everything currently on the market instantly becomes outdated.

Pretty funny that iPhone 4 is so old and still manages to look and feel better than everything else out there. Not even funny..

I’ll give you the looks but feel? Let’s see, in the last 2 weeks my girlfriends iFail 4 has frozen and lagged so many times I’ve lost count. She does nothing but look at a couple web pages, check facebook, play games, and listen to her music. Same stuff I do with my Android phone (except I do way more). This ‘no power button’ concept is retarded to the max also.

Now let’s bring up music for a second. Upgraded her laptop from Vista 32bit to W7 64bit. Guess what? The music she BOUGHT and transferred from the cd’s to the iFail will be lost the moment she syncs. What idiot makes a program with one way sync? To re-sync those GB’s of music I’ll have to use some third party software to get it added back to the iTunes library so it will sync. That process may or may not work – there’s no guarantee with the third party software.

I can keep going on about the bullsh*t iPhone but I won’t. I know everything has it’s weaknesses however, the iPhones are vast – far less than ANY I’ve encountered on Android.

Just one camera? C’mon, I want 3D Facetime already!

  • Dude

    Wow! Those are… … … Spare parts!

    • http://twitter.com/kujayhawks77 Michael Radcliffe

I thought spare parts was part of Android? Is Apple stealing again?

  • Gotmojo

Hey super genius, megapixels do NOT equal a better camera, it’s the lens technology that does. In which case, Apple FTW! And no LED, its a Xenon flash, again Apple FTW!

Android doesn’t have it’s market share due to overall quality, it has it due to the overall market saturation of pre and post paid phones and tablets. Let’s see how many devices we can put this OS into at a ridiculous level to compete with just ONE (1), phone and ONE (1), tablet. Then let’s update the OS every couple of months to fix what was failing in the last attempt to out do Apple.
