AT&T to launch HTC Puccini tablet as 'Jetstream'

Tablets

AT&T will launch HTC’s 10-inch tablet, currently codenamed “Puccini,” as the HTC Jetstream according to a new report. We brought you the first solid leaked images of the Jetstream and have heard rumors that it is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and will support AT&T’s 4G LTE network. HTC’s chief financial officer Winston Yung confirmed on Tuesday that the Puccini will launch in September or October, although AT&T may choose to announce it later this year. AT&T’s 4G LTE network will go live in five markets this summer and the carrier hopes to expand it to a total of 15 markets by the end of the year. That seems like too small of a market to launch an LTE tablet into, and AT&T hasn’t promised any 4G phones or tablets this year, but we can still dream.

There were never any good ones to begin with. I think Touchpad was the best, but that’s dead now…

      iPad? HAHAHA.

I agree TouchPad was a clever name, perhaps it will be up for grabs now, then again even if it were people would remember the name for a very long time as an HP product so it wouldn’t do a company much good to buy the rights to the name really.

Does anyone know if there is a cover like this for the iPad? Trying to find minimal design that will hold stylus and biz cards.

I expect this to be as good as or better than the Gtab (10.1 or 8.9). Can’t wait for Amazon’s offering.

AT&T hasn’t promised any 4G phones or tablets this year, but we can still dream. I am a 26 years old nurse, young and beautiful. Now I am seeking an older gentle man who can give me real love , so i got a username Annababe2011 on—a’ge’l'es’s'da’te. C óM—it is the first and best club for y’ounger women and older men, or older women and younger men,to int’eract with each other. Maybe you wanna ch’eck it out or tell your friends.

Scroat, somehow I knew you were in the medical field but I never imagined “a nurse” – True Story

You should be careful, though, when you ask for an ‘older gentle man who can give you real love’; Sharon Tate said the same thing and look what happened.

To small of a market to launch LTE into? This is AT&T we’re talking about. They charge you for things don’t even have. Like my iPhone 3g never got 3g until 8 months after my 2 year contract was up and I’d ditched them for Verizon. They have the shittiest network, the crappiest policies, yet they keep making more decisions to keep screwing over their customer base.

Sprint once had bad customer service, and it was a wound that they couldn’t stop the bleeding once people started jumping ship. They’ve since learned from their mistakes. AT&T is to smug and safe.. they aren’t worried anyone with unlimited will jump ship because they (and Verizon) have trapped everyone that doesn’t want to lose unlimited now.

By the way, that is a great looking tablet. I like that HTC was bright enough to see now everyone wants to write with their finger like a kindergartner. However, I don’t think most people want a tablet thats on a contract.
