7-inch HP TouchPad Go leaked with 1.5GHz processor

Tablets

HP’s TouchPad Go was recently approved by the the Federal Communications Commission, which revealed some information on the unannounced tablet. The webOS device could be equipped with a dual-core 1.5GHz processor and a 3G radio, which would indicate HP is looking to launch it with at least one U.S. carrier. We first heard word of a 7-inch TouchPad tablet in January of this year and the most recent rumors revealed that HP could launch the device this month. It is possible we’ll hear more about the TouchPad Go in the coming days, and we hope it gains more consumer traction than the original TouchPad, which just had its priced slash by $100 to make it more appealing.

At what price point can they put this?

$299 seems logical but not sure if people will save $100 to get a smaller form factor… and it’s not like $399 Touchpads are flying off the shelves.

I’ll buy one at $199 though… always wanted a webOS device… but still holding out for that eventual “summer” release of the 8.9″ Galaxy Tab.

BigNerd, Go to your nearest 3 stores and try buy a $399 16GB TouchPad. You’ll be lucky to find one. They disappear almost as soon as they get in.

Two local Best Buy stores just told me they had over 20 in stock. I’m in Boston.

Over here nobody buys them. They are ALWAYS in full stock. I don’t know if you are lying to make a point, being sarcastic, or just live in the only state where these things are popular.

Woot only sold 612 touchpad in their 1 day fire sale.

Which doesn’t mean shit because Staples (and others who do price-match) were offering them for $80 less than woot.

I hope you’re on email notification… doesn’t seem like HP agrees with you.

And my Best Buy was NEVER sold out.

I just bought a touchpad for 299 and it shipped today. Cant say I really need a tablet, I enjoyed using the iPad and Xoom but at the 300 price point I figure id pull the trigger. (even with medicore reviews)

I was about to, I want a 7″ version so I can throw it in my car.

$250-400 on contract and no more than $500 outright and I’m interested.

    A $299 7″ TouchPad coupled with all the TV commercials I see…

They might sell a few of these!

But as much as I love Russell Brand… they should find someone else.

I just paid $22.85 for an iPad 2-64GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $674 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, CentHub.com

I wont buy it, WebOS has no support, and little to no WebOS phones. Where are the webOS high end phones?  Both Palm and HP can’t make more than a few of the same phones? wtf

as a playbook owner i say *facepalm* RIM needs to speed up those updates or i might be jumping ship for the TP..(LOL TP) I love the gestures on the PB, but the OS is lacking things like universal search, i got hope for rim, but i need more premium apps…

HP is one of the few companies Apple won’t touch. With all of their Palm touchscreen and smartphone patents, HP could litigate Cupertino into oblivion.
