AT&T HTC Puccini screenshots leaked

Tablets

Last month, we brought you exclusive images of HTC’s first 10-inch tablet, the HTC Puccini. Now, a few screenshots have leaked that give the device a little more context. We expect the Android Honeycomb tablet to be equipped with an 8-megapixel camera, a dual-LED flash, a 1.5GHz processor, and to end up landing on AT&T with support for the carrier’s HSPA+ network. The shots leaked on Friday all but confirm the tablet’s launch on AT&T. We can see it’s loaded with a few bloatware applications including AT&T Code Scanner, AT&T MyText and AT&T FamilyMap. It also looks like the Puccini will come preloaded with a few games including Cordy and Let’s Golf 2. HTC’s Snapbooth software is present, but we don’t see Scribe installed, which means this tablet might not offer all of the stylus-friendly features the HTC Flyer did. Read on for more images.

That is ugly. I see no reason to buy this over an iPad or Touchpad.

Yes, it is just a grid of app icons, just like iPad. Ugly. Where is the HTC Sense UI?

Every android and apple device has a grid of app icons moron. Grow up.

Of course there are grids of icons. But there should be more than that, like widget, live tiles, etc… Open you eyes. macboy.

Omg it’s got a weather widget. Question are all android user tornado or storm chasers. Why to they make a big deal about having weather and other widgets on there phones and tablets. I hope apple never ever puts them on the iPhone or iPad. First they are a battery drain. Every widget needs to refresh the more widgets the more refreshing the more battery drain. Example facebook, instant messaging, etc. Let not forget the live wallpaper which is useless. Two they clump up the home screen. Do I need to know what the weather is every minute? Three they cause other things to lag. These are among many reasons why I returned my android phone.

Do you know that you decide how and when you want a weather widget to update or not at all? Why do some people do push email and others don’t? Everyone has different preferences in using their devices. It is called choices.

Who needs 62 pre-loaded (and likely non-removable) apps?

I paid $22.85 for an iPhone 4-32GB and my girlfriend loves her Panasonic Lumix GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS. I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $674 which only cost me $62.81 to buy. Here is the website we use to get it all from, CentHub.com
