Apple releases iOS 4.3.5 for iPhone, iPad, more

Apple on Monday released iOS 4.3.5 for iOS devices to address a security vulnerability. The update comes just 10 days after Apple issued iOS 4.3.4 to address a security hole related to PDF support. The new update was released with the following notes:

iOS 4.3.5 Software Update

Fixes a security vulnerability with certificate validation.

IOS 4.3.5 is available immediately through iTunes for the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad and the last two iPod touch models. Apple has also released iOS 4.2.10 at the same time for Verizon Wireless’ CDMA iPhone 4.

      I have been using my iphone the way I want to since ’07. There is no need for jailbreak anymore. Apple along with apps have taken the place of any jailbreak apps. At least Apple gives a shit about their os. I can’t say the same for google with android.

        really? so you can use face time over your 3G connection and not just via wifi? …….didn’t think so. Only way to do that is through the jailbreak. Thus, you are limited and must use your phone within apple’s bubble.

        All of the other video services that are available for android are available on the iPhone over 3G. It doesn’t make sense to complain that the feature no other phone has isn’t good enough.

        False. Download a app like Tango, Qik or Oovoo and you can do it over 3G. Nice try though.

        Thank you! There’s a reason for the control. iOS isn’t a buggy piece of shit like Android! The iOS 5 betas run better than any android phone I’ve used! There has to be a level of control otherwise you get a fragmented mess!

    I’m still scratching my head over 4.2.10 and why they can’t unify the Verizon unit with the GSM unit. It’s clear that they are waiting until 5.0 to do so, but why? Why can’t the Verizoners enjoy the 4.3 improvements?

      Android makes a phone every week so it seems so of course it is going to sell better than Apple “maybe” BUT we are paid for quality and not quantity. My brother just bought the Evo 4G, still dropping calls, still having to remove the battery to reboot and it’s heavier than my iPad 2 and phone is a month old. His cell company already told him to buy a backup battery. Typical Android.

    At least microsoft only releases updates once a month.
    4.3.4 and the itunes upgrade l;ast week screwed my itunes and iphone which has taken 2 days to fix. Now they want me to install some more crappy ios when they won’t even release advanced features to iphone 3gs due to planned obsolescence strategy.
    Last piece of icrap I ever buy.
