I have a Sprint version and i can say, even late, it is still one of the best phones out there.  You have no idea how wonderful android is until you see it released from crappy UIs and overlays.

So can we infer the nexus prime lte is not going to be coming to att at launch this fall?

    • Steve Lee

I dont see that happening …. do you ?.. at this point GS2 is the next shining star and I can almost smell it.

      • Anonymous

        Smells good too!

      • Nelson1002002

        That’s what she said!!!

    • Remington Jackson

yeah the be Steve is right. The best you can hope for is that it comes to At&t before the end of the second quarter next year

    • Sam

Now that at&t carries the nexus line, not to mention the fact that at&t and t-mobile will probably merge soon anyways, I think its very possible that we at&t customers will be some of the first to get the nexus prime

  • http://twitter.com/aids_ftw aids_ftw

    Finally a vanilla Android device!!

  • Wirelessmodz

lmfao really at&t you will not be my carrier if the merger goes through sgs2 is my next phone

Great phone…there is no reason to change the design, it still looks great, but it is definitely time to update some of the internal hardware if it is to stay a high end device. At least they priced it sensibly.

The Nexus S: AT&T’s Second Gingerbread device.

The first, of course, is the HTC Status.

The hilarity of Android updates and releases continues.

The reason y they are launching this phone is because the new nexus; some say it’ll be called nexus prime will be able to support tmobile & at&t bands whether the merger goes through or not…consumers want the pure google experience and this is just a way for at&t to snag some of that audience…do your homework! Old phone, yes but still a good one…ummmm people still buy the evo; enough said!!

I have a Tmo nexus s. It’s so underwhelming and disappointing I’ll never buy anything Samsung again, they really cut a lot of corners and crippled this “reference” phone. What a joke.

  • http://twitter.com/outdoor_michael michael

does the AT&T  version have a radio?

    • Steve Lee

Maybe.. but dont expect too much after all its made for at&t service…..

      • http://twitter.com/outdoor_michael michael

sounds like a perfect match for a Samsung
