Analysts raise Apple stock price target ahead of earnings

Business

Apple will release its fiscal third quarter earnings on Tuesday afternoon and analysts have boosted the stock price target in anticipation of a solid quarterly report. The iPhone maker’s shares hit a record high of $373.80 at the close of the day on Monday. BGC analyst Collin Gillis has boosted the price target of Apple’s stock from $390 to $430. “We are more positive on the outlook for share acceleration in the second half as it is reasonable to expect multiple hardware refreshes combined with the back-to-school and holiday shopping quarter,” Gillis told Reuters. A group of analysts recently predicted that Apple will report that it sold between 15 and 20 million iPhones during the quarter, with the average estimate falling at 16.9 million iPhones sold. Apple is expected to “report earnings of $5.84 per share on revenue of $24.9 billion,” Reuters said, citing Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.

Every dollar Apple makes is fueled by the Devil himself.  Google, on the other hand, is money provided by the Lord.  It’s kinda obvious because Google doesn’t charge anything for their products, so they must be getting it from God.  Please internalize this!  It’s a fact.

I prefer to side with the Devil. Google is a wolf in sheep’s clothing as proven by their backstabbing weasel chairman Eric Shit, who is now busy greasing the palms of politicians in Washington.

I agree, I find it funny that companies that make millions or billions of dollars push the progressive movement.  How can a company get so powerful off of capitalism, support socialism.  My assumption is they want to keep everyone down, now that they’re ahead of the game.

I love Apple and Google products, but I hate their political views.  Especially Google since
Eric Schmidt is Obama’s right hand man.

If I knew where this guy lived, I would light a bag of shit on fire and throw it at his front door. What an FN strap-on

Awww, you are so adorable!  If you are to light a bag of shit, you could light yourself up, basically the same thing.  But I don’t want you to get hurt though.  I’d be sad.

In three months Apple will overtake exxon as the most valuable company in the world. Apple will rule the world.  true story™©®

suck a dick u queer. most valuable company lol, maybe in stock value…but DEF not in revenue, which is the MOST important thing. Scroat, everyone is sick of you and your ‘true story’ BS. Stop trying to hide behind a computer and chirp, your pathetic. You prob jerk it to your ipod displaying a pic of steve jobs before bed every night.

Lmao!! Revenue? Hahahha. Ur a total dumb ass. Doesn’t matter if u take in 1
trillion plus one dollar a day in revenue if your costs are 1 trillion dollars a day.
        Fucken moron.  true story™©®

so sorry jackass…i’ll use the word ‘profit’ instead of revenue so you can use your thick headed brain to understand what I was getting at. Your saying they’ll be the most valuable company in the world, maybe by stock price….but, not by PROFIT, better for you? Scroat, everyone is sick of you and your ‘true story’ BS. Stop trying to
hide behind a computer and chirp, your pathetic. You prob jerk it to
your ipod displaying a pic of steve jobs before bed every night.

Lol. Thick head? Son maybe u better check the definitions of profit and
revenue before u call me thick headed. They are no where near the same
thing. Exxon made 10.x billion in profit last quarter. Apple made 6+
billion. In three months id wager they are in the ballpark of 8-10 billion.
So it’s not a far stretch like u make it. Who knows. They just might make
more than exxon with the summer driving months behind them and the price per
barrel dropping. It’s comical how uninformed u actually are.  true

Market cap isn’t simply “stock price” and it is used as one of the main factors in determining the value and size of a publicly traded company. Maybe take a business class before you spout off nonsense.

No offense to anyone, but is BGR an Apple Rumor site or a Tech Site?

I’m organizing my RSS feeds and BGR is under tech but it seems to have the same tone of Apple sites where they get so excited over things that don’t affect the end users (Like Apple stock prices) and talk about it like the same way I brag about my incredibly awesome baby girl. (The difference being that I’m partially responsible for my daughters awesomeness while Apple sites only delude themselves into thinking they are part of the company)

BGR is a complete joke…anything to promote apple. a $430 stock price lol….gimmie a break, these analysts will do anything to make their money in the market by pumping up a stock. Analysts are what ruin the tech world, they base everything on speculation and not what  is the best product on the market.

This has nothing to do with “the best”, it has to do with financial performance. Most financial experts say that Apple’s stock price is actually rather low based on earnings per share and using standard calculations used for other stocks.

And lol at claiming analysts try to inflate Apple’s stock. The last five years it has been the opposite… known as “shorting”.

I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, LiveCent.com
