64GB and 4G HP TouchPads landing in August according to leaked roadmap

Tablets

According to a purported roadmap image obtained by PreCentral, HP will introduce a new 64GB version of its TouchPad this August alongside a 4G model on AT&T. The 64GB model will apparently offer a “glossy white” finish and could come equipped with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor that’s clocked at 1.5GHz. AT&T’s 4G TouchPad is expected to come in a black finish and will offer support for the carrier’s HSPA+ network, but will maintain the 32GB capacity of the Wi-Fi model that launched last week. While early reports suggested that HP’s new 7-inch TouchPad, codenamed “Opal,” would launch in August, PreCentral says the tablet is expected to launch in the fall instead.

If they can manage to eradicated the reported sluggishness and resets that are being reported the 4g models are the ones I am interested in.

I dont want a portable tablet that has to be used at home or at some Starbcks. I want to have complete access everywhere.

Does anyone care about these webOS products?  Seriously, the Touchpad form factor would have been okay last year, and the Pre 3 specs would have been okay last year, but is any non-fanboy in the market for a chunky, laggy tablet, or a single core phone with a screen resolution from 2009?

I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, LiveCent.com

You sold something for cheap after mommy called you out of her basement and made you eat her nasty cunt. You are a slim ball that needs to take your ads somewhere else.

Leave it to HP to destroy a great operating  system.

I’m really really inclined to agree with you this time. I mean when I look at that roadmap again; *checks for Pre 3*, read FALL. *twitched eyes* yup it said *FALL*….ffs HP *hard facepalm eyes closed heaves heavily*

It will be thinner this time!!!!

A day late and dollar short= HP.. So sad

    How about giving us:

     - bigger resolution screen
     - matte display for outdoor and long term text reading ergonomics

Memory is ok, but with current drop-box and other cloud services it is secondary.

Tablets are about the *DISPLAY*. If the display sucks, no amount of memory is going to help.

oh, it says “Fall”. When I initially looked I thought it said “Fail” which would be more accurate in my opinion. I’m a die hard pre owner and have been holding out on my upgrade until the Pre 3 is released but its taking way too long. Time to move to something else. Sorry HP, you are losing more and more ground everyday. Dang it HP!!
