Dungeon Hunter 2, NBA Jam, other iOS games on sale for holiday weekend

Gaming

A number of iOS game publishers, including Gameloft and Electronic Arts, have dropped the prices of several games in honor of the upcoming holiday weekend. EA has slashed the prices of NBA Jam, The Sims 3, FIFA 11, Dead Space, and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit to $0.99. Gameloft’s Dungeon Hunter 2 and Starfront Collision are also just $0.99, as is Adult Swim’s Robot Unicorn Attack. Trucks and Skulls Nitro and Cross Fingers are both free this weekend, and both Zen Bound and Zen Bound 2 are priced at $0.99. If you’re doing some traveling on your way to a BBQ and need a good way to pass the time, be sure to hit up the iTunes App Store to take advantage of the sales. Of all the titles above, we highly recommend giving both Dungeon Hunter 2 and NBA Jam a play-through.

It does look that way.  But this sale is big.  Many, many great titles down to a $1.

I think I should sell my iOS devices and start using my Captivate and HD2 again to save money.  You can always count on Android not having much to pinch your wallet.

Why can’t Android have some of these sales?  Every time i see a report on app sales its always iOS.  Damn u Google. Lol

cuz most of their apps are free ;)

Yeah, you can’t get very far putting a price on crapware.  But seriously, the few games that are free are adware monsters on Android.  So either pay a price for no ads or get it free with ads in Android.  Wow, so much better than iOS and their occasional sales that drop games down to $1 or free – without ads.

More like why can’t Android get even a quarter of the quality games hitting iOS.  First we need the games before you can put it on sale.

      Because Androids suck.

Graphics of infinity blade are just crazy on the iPad… Didn’t know till today that if you already brought the iPhone version, the iPad version was free to download, same thing with Navigon.

I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, LiveCent.com
