Angry Birds for Android gets ‘Mine and Dine’ update with 45 new levels

Gaming

Angry Birds for Android has been updated with a new Mine and Dine episode. Players can now fling birds at pigs across 45 challenging new levels, bringing the total number of playable levels to 255. In this update, the pigs have buried themselves underground in an effort to hide the bird eggs. You’ll need to take advantage of the landscape to hit every pig while collecting gems and grabbing all of the stolen eggs. The update is available for free in the Android Market now.

Yeah, I already beat the 15 new levels last night. Either BGR was slow to report this, or it wasn’t released for Android until today.
And how could you be slow to report this? Don’t you check for updates every morning to see if you’re going to get your Angry Birds fix? …That’s normal, right?

I got it last night too on my EVO, so I think BGR was just slow reporting. I’m done with them too.  Waiting for more.

Well poor old WebOs. No Rio update. No “Mine and Dine”.

I got bored of Angry Birds a long time ago. Tiny Wings was great too, but I haven’t found a worthy successor.

    August 08, 2011…

Dear Diary: I’m still checking for an update for “Angry Birds” every 5 minutes; I am doubtful, yet the prospect of the last 15 levels of ‘Mine and Dine’ 17 are driving me forward. I have not seen the light of day for over 2 months now. None of it matters, only new levels for “Angry Birds” matter now. I have given up hope for any updates for “Angry Birds: RIO” since completing ‘Carnival Upheaval’.

I am sure the good people at ROVIO/ Amazon are working diligently to give me the update I am waiting for.

Now, I must get back to checking for an update…
