Verizon leaks mystery Honeycomb tablet in video

Verizon Wireless leaked, and subsequently pulled, a video that showed a woman using an unannounced Android Honeycomb-powered tablet. Judging from the picture grabbed by Droid-Life, the tablet definitely doesn’t resemble the Galaxy Tab 10.1, the Flyer, or the XOOM, so it appears Verizon has a new tablet up its sleeve. But what is it? A new summer tablet launch would certainly be exciting and since there’s already promo material that includes the device, we likely won’t have to wait long to find out.

        I use Hulu Plus on my PS3, as opposed to subscribing to cable. Who cares about having it on a tablet?

        I do.  I subscribe to both Netflix and Hulu.  Having Netflix on my phone is great, but the screen is rather small.  Hulu isn’t yet for Android.  I want to be able to watch a show when I am not at home or traveling.

        I am often working on my laptop and need the whole screen.  Playing videos on it, while I am working, just isn’t feasible.  I may also need to be on my phone or make sure it is available for calls.  Why shouldn’t I be able to have Hulu playing a show?!  My tablet is perfect for this.

        I have a Dell Streak 7, which doesn’t even have the DRM needed for Netflix.  I also have an iPad2, which I currently use for streaming while traveling.  I do prefer the Dell’s 7″ screen for videos though.  I can’t wait for both Hulu and Netflix to be supported on it.

    Does anyone even care when one of these things are released anymore? It’s like Android phones: Unmemorable. No wonder these tablets don’t sell and iPad is reaping all the benefits. Just bought an iPad and even my grandma knew what it was.

      Well, I have a NookColor and a Dell Streak 7, as well as an iPad2.  No matter what device I am using, everyone calls it an iPad.  The term is starting to become synonymous with “tablet”.

      I agree.  The only difference being the placement of the camera.  At least on my iPad2, the camera is on the other side.

      I am going to go with the newer Galaxy Tab, since Samsung copies Apple!
