Motorola DROID 3 spotted again

We’ve seen plenty of leaked shots of the DROID 3 (also known as the Milestone 3 in Europe), but now you can get a glimpse of the clearest one yet. The phone first surfaced in March, again in April, and then the specs were leaked in May. The bad news is that it’s becoming more and more clear that the phone will be nearly identical in looks to the DROID 2. The good news is there’s decent spec boost. The DROID 3 should sport a 4-inch display with 960 x 540 qHD resolution, a dual-core processor, HDMI-out, and an 8-megapixel camera that’s presumably capable of recording HD video. Early rumors suggested a June launch on Verizon Wireless, so hopefully we’ll hear more in the coming weeks.

      After 3 models they still have that ugly hunk of unusable plastic at the bottom.
      Side note: placing a Verizon logo in that space does not somehow give ugly plastic a function.

        One of the best things about the iPhone is that it doesn’t have the damn ugly carrier logos on it. Thank God for that.

    Really?  Are we looking at the same phone?  Sure there are some similarities, but no one would mistake that for the Droid 2.  Looks like an Atrix with a keyboard.

    Looks like it will do the job for what it was designed for.  As for those that think it’s ugly, would you rather it was bedazzled? It’s a global phone for those of us that travel around the globe.  I just hope the batter lasts longer than my D2 Global.

    All I want is a 4.3 inch, phone with a physical keyboard, slimmer than the original Droid, front and rear facing cameras, 1GB ram, 1.2-1.5 dual-core goodness, with an LTE radio.  Why can’t anyone make this happen.

      And a better battery too, I suppose? I hear the DROID 4 will come with car battery backpack so it can hold a charge longer than a bathroom break.
