      well said.

    Nope!

The rumor is that it would run stock 2.4. That would be the only attractive feature of this phone. If you look closely at the OS, it does seem different specially when it swtiches from landscape to potrait. The transition was smooth as iOS.

there is no 2.4 . . . there’s 2.3.4 which is the minor update that brings Gtalk with video and that’s it.

      • BoyWonderReport

there is no 2.3.4. its 2.2.3.4 jeez get it right

It’s a new version of Blur.  There will be nothing stock about this phone.

Hey it’s one of the first pos android phones that started it all. Hey does this one have the same laggy, buggy half baked os and same specs that the last two moto droids are known for? I remember when my brother in law had this phone he loved it. Then I showed him my iPhone 3G. He no longer likes his droid.

      Get a life.. Like seriously

Macboy15 you are so right, Android is terrible, who would ever need to replace the battery, memory card, or anything else.  I mean come on I definitely dont need an open source market, I like Apple controlling absolutely everything. It is such a fantastic feature to not be able to download anything through a web browser.  And most of all I want my only insurance(through the carrier) option to have a 110 dollar higher deductible than ANY other smartphone. (The above is sarcasm if you didn’t get that)

P.S. Tell your brother in law to Google “How to use my Droid”,  just in case he hasn’t already realized that his phone smokes yours.
        ;)

I have a life to much of one. For example right now I am on vacation in a cottage on Waimanalo Beach in Hawaii. Sounds like a life to me huh.

If your commenting on BGR at 3am while on a Hawaiian Vacation you need a life more than I previously thought

      • BoyWonderReport

Your in Hawaii, on vacation, and replying to idiots such as these fine posters and myself? You sir, are a douche!

    • CmonNow

Brain washed from what? I’ve been a computer programmer and a developer when more than half of you were even thought of. I only comment on these blog to mess around with you fools and remember what it’s like to be 18 again.

Yeah so this will replace my trusty OG unlocked bootloader Gingerbread running…Oh wait no it wont LMFAO..  Moto please go into bankruptcy and leave locked bootloaders blow just like moto blur

  • n00btastic

I don’t understand.  It’s not newsworthy if fewer than 9 new Android phones are being leaked.  There’s already too many Droid phones competing at the same price point with the same features being only slightly (almost imperceptibly) differentiated with “skins.”  If the spec sheets for all droid phones were mixed up and sent with the wrong phones, it would go unnoticed until an archeological dig hundreds of years from now unearths a few. Studies will be conducted at the highest academic levels for decades. A nobel prize will be awarded when it is proved that Motorola != HTC.

    • Steve Hillshire

Dang, you just proved to the world you never touched an Android phone.

Oh great. Another video showing us how awesome these dime-a-dozen android phones work. Look, there’s a keyboard, look, there’s a screen, look, there’s the lag.

Looks like motorola isn’t bringing anything new to the table. They are just beating a dead horse. Guess they didn’t learn from the mistakes made with the many versions of the Razr.

Motorola knocks ones out of the park again. DROID FTW!!!!

The leaks of the Droid 3 peps up
enthusiasm and curiosity with respect to its features. I personally feel that
the videos do not clear the doubts on which processor will be inside of the
Droid 3. The similarity to Atrix 4G is what I conclude with the HDMI out port
right next to the USB port.

No 4G = No Sale.  I am waiting for a 4G phone with a physical keyboard on Verizon.  If they keep me waiting much longer, I am going to Sprint.

  • Anonymous

It has Blur. There’s no indication of it having 4G. It’ll probably have a locked bootloader. Living in a 4G area, I don’t see why I give Moto my money over HTC or Samsung.

  • Tony

    Wow……another Droid phone.

  • jezza

moto seems to be having much fun with Tegra . . Atrix, Droidx2, Photon, XOOM  . . . cant wait for KAL EL to show up later this year . . . should be interesting

  • Steve Jenkins

    Excuse me… Yawn!

  • Sjkdsjkdjsk

u guys are morons fighting about android and apple.

  • Nathan Seery

My OG Droid is starting to get a little long in the tooth. IF the D3 has an unlocked bootloader (yeah right) I may be interested. Otherwise, I’ll probably be heading to HTC or Samsung for my next.

  • http://twitter.com/demiroquai demiroquai

I’m all for Android, but this feels so blah.  How about some style and elegance added to the actual look of the phone.

  • Anonymous

This droid has a 4 inch screen great job but no LTE. Why the hell would they not put the 4G radio in a slick phone like that. That phone with the 4G radio would be a huge hit with customers. I always liked the Droid slide out keyboard, no LTE sucks.

  • Mike Prophete

Where is the FFC? They went over all features except FFC!!!
