Sprint’s HTC EVO 3D shipping June 24th, RadioShack ad suggests

3D

According to a RadioShack advertisement spotted by Phandroid, the store could begin shipping the highly anticipated HTC EVO 3D from Sprint on June 24th. The retailer began quietly taking pre-orders on May 17th, which suggests an imminent release, so June 24th certainly seems like it’s in the right ballpark. When it launches, the EVO 3D will be the first 3D smartphone to land on a carrier’s shelves in the United States. We were impressed with the glasses-free 3D display during our hands-on at CTIA earlier this year and we’re definitely excited to get our hands-on a review unit as soon as possible so we can spend more time putting it through its paces.

What event is Sprint holding tomorrow?

yeah i dont know which one to get now…this or wait for the SGS2…the 3D will lose its novelty pretty quickly for me…whats left is a faster evo 4g…which in reality would be an awesome phone…mine has been great thus far. But theres something about that o so thin SGS2 and IPS like viewing angles that I love about the sammy…time will only tell i guess.

The SGS2 is much faster because of the graphics processor and A9 processor. I believe the 3D has a 2nd gen dual core A8 snapdragon. Benchmark wise the SGS2 is much better. Sense and Touchwiz are about equal. What I like is the longer battery, thinness, speed, better front camera (I video chat,) SAMOLED+ and it’s unlocked, which is most important lol

Why is it that Sprint’s partners ALWAYS seem to get “Spring” phones and have information about “Sprint” products before the Sprint stores and employees do?

Sprint doesnt know how to launch a phone, so the partners get the jump on them since they know its smarter to tell people when they can actually get a phone they may want instead of being secretive.

Hands down the Evo 3d is the device that will represent android and sprint extremely well for the remainder of 2011. HTC has out done themselves on this device and spec wise NO DEVICE ON THE MARK IS BETTER. I give credit to Samsung with there Galaxy S2 but better than the Evo 3d it is not. I will be getting my device on day one at bestbuy.
