Seen and heard it all before….. Nothing to see here.

Well, I can understand how you’re tired of 1+GHz, dual-core phones with qHD resolution and 1080p video capabilities. Between T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint and AT&T, there are a whole ton. There’s the G2X, the Sensation (which isn’t quite out yet), and the Atrix. Am I missing any?

In any case, I’m always glad to see more powerful phones come out.

Yess. The set I had been waiting for to dump my IPhone has finally arrived !

This will be my next phone until the next Nexus comes out.  I currently use the G2X and it’s pretty good.  Haven’t had the issues that many are reporting.  But getting the Sensation is strictly for resale value when the new Nexus hits.  It will be much easier to sell the HTC Sensation than the G2X and get my money’s worth.

But you already spent money on the G2x . . . now you’re going to get the sensation? Are you still within the exchange window?

  • Meagan

That $199 price is for NEW Tmobile customers.  When AT&T takes over the 3G/4G bands in the HTC Sensation will be useless since it will be discontinued eventually by AT&T.  AT&T use their own 3G/4G bands.

    • Andrewashington17

Uh, that is why AT&T wants to buy T-Mobile. For the spectrum. For their 3g and 4g bands. Get a fuckin clue before posting.

Despite the fact that Meagan might be wrong, you showed great class there, Andrew.

      • Biggles

AT&T wants AWS for LTE, not HSPA.  Meagan is right that the Sensation will be largely useless except for making calls and EDGE data connections.  You’re the one that needs to get a clue.

This is the phone for me.  Can’t wait until it is released.  I’m just happy it’ll be getting a sense upgrade which they still haven’t completely fixed over at XDA no matter which ROM i put on my HD2.  The only down side is the bootloader being locked and the on board memory but otherwise this is a beast!

  • Biggles

How about that!  A dual core phone for $199 on contract.  Paying attention, Verizon?

      Agree 100%

I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, MadCent. com

Seems like a lot of bang for the buck .Wow

G2x had resulted in “inventory constraints,” As a result of those constraints, however, the carrier has increased the price of the G2x to $249.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate —a $50 boost from its debut price of $199. I wonder if Tmobile will do this to the HTC Sensation 4G, which makes no sense at all. But if i were going to buy any of these phones i would just wait and buy it cheaper later on.

    • Ny-er

It makes sense to wait, but those of us who are tech freaks (includ me) need the latest item at the moment it launches…..
If i would have waited for the Iphone 3gs for a lower i price, could have got it now for $ 49 from AT&T,,,,,but would have missed out on everything !
