BlackBerry Curve 9360 (Apollo) hands-on

Exclusive

Ah, we see you again, BlackBerry Curve (Apollo). We’ve just scored some more hands-on time with RIM’s upcoming next-generation Curve, now named the BlackBerry Curve 9360. That’s what we’re being told is the final model number for this handset, though knowing RIM, there are sure to be some variations on that. This unit feels like a production unit to us, and with a final model number, it can’t be too long before they start infiltrating your local carrier’s store shelves. In the mean time, check out our hands-on gallery below!

P.S. We’ve heard that RIM won’t be using NFC for mobile payments for a “little while.” Instead, RIM will focus its initial NFC efforts on things like contact sharing and adding users to your BlackBerry Messenger list, etc.

While RIM’s BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server) service is the highlight of corporate and government mobile security, BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) RIM’s service for consumers, has far better security than whatever Apple or Android can ever or try to provide (Heck, its even safer accessing the internet through BIS than through most PCs!). Also, the Blackberry phone, itself, was designed to withstand strong, external threats (viruses, malware, attacks, etc) a critical factor that Apple and Android clearly need many years to improve on.

It’s mainly about your needs. Blackberries may not be as powerful or flashy as iphones and android phones, but if you value solid security, tried and true reliability and quick, practical communication, Blackberry is the obvious, smart choice.

do you need an accounting lesson.  check their cash flow, income statement, balance sheet…

stock price is the investor’s impression of future income relative to their market.  investors are asking them for a change in ceo’s b/c they believe they can do better…it still doesn’t equate to not making money…they believe they can make more money.
