Steve Jobs to give WWDC 2011 keynote [Update]

Computers

Steve Jobs will give the Worldwide Developers Conference keynote in San Francisco on June 7th, despite currently being on medical leave from the company. We expect that he’ll discuss Lion, the new iOS 5 operating system, and more. We’ll be reporting live from the event, which will be held at Moscone Center in San Francisco. It’s a little bit curious that news of Steve Jobs broke during the Microsoft Windows Phone Mango event.

UPDATE: GigaOm, the source of this report, has updated its post explaining that it accidentally reported information from last year’s WWDC press release thinking it was new. Apple has not announced that Steve Jobs will be at this year’s WWDC keynote.

He is poor. His wife controls the money. She has him on a $2000 a month allowance. Has to pay for gas food etc with it. True story.

He’ll probably say: “Its a free country. If they really want to compete with a less attractive, less capable phone, like they did with a less attractive and less capable music player and Google is doing with their tablets, they’re more than welcome.”

Apple changes the playing field. Don’t expect something different, in fact don’t expect anything at all.(Don’t bring a knife to a gun fight.)

UMM. The Keynote is on the 6th this year. It was June 7 LAST YEAR.
