WTF. Is Apple the only company that can release a product with price and date of availability announced more than a few days in advance?

exactly! the white iPhone 4 arrived exactly 10 months after the initial announcement. Nothing went wrong with that release at all -)

Give the ppor guys a break. At least the Taiwanese and Koreans are good at copying Apple-Designs. I guess they will catch up with marketing skills soon enough.

more importantly wtf is with the headlines “Wood as a sweaty smoky sport.”

    • Cer

Google it and you’ll find a NYT article about grilling over wood.

No price, so why did they feel the need to announce it!  After my experience with the Galaxy Tab WiFi, I don’t think I’d get a single core tablet agan.  But if the price is right, I may pull the trigger on this since there isn’t a 7 inch Honeycomb tab coming anytime soon.  But if this is above $400, just gonna get the 8.9 Gal Tab

My DROID XOOM 4G LTE is still perfect. So this is pointless.

  • Cer

Remind me, but the Best Buy version of the Flyer doesn’t come with the stylus, right? And said stylus is $79.99, right? And said price is totally ridiculous?

The only thing worth mentioning when talking about Android tabs is the price. We basically know the specs for android tabs, the only compelling reason at this point is price point and fixes to Honeycomb.

    • Cer

Your comment disproves your point. You seem to think that the Flyer has Honeycomb. It does not.

         worse still.

    iPad killer.

At $300 or less, yes. At a ridiculous $500 plus $80 for the pen, absolutely not.

      • http://twitter.com/jj_hh1 J Hamburg

        At 300$: maybe
With Monroid on it: sure not

Why can’t more of these tablets be released with 3g/4g connectivity? I have been sticking to the iPad 3g since nothing released has had 3g our has been priced within reason (looking at you G-Slate).

    • Cornbread

G slate is every bit the disaster as the Xoom. Honeycomb is a horror show. The ipad is the only tab that sells for good reason.

  • DerekF

Most likely the price will be around what a 32GIG ipad will cost you.
