HTC Lead for AT&T image and spec sheet leaked

Pocketnow has gotten its hands on an image of the HTC Lead from AT&T, and 911 Sniper has leaked a few of the specs. Neither AT&T nor HTC have announced the Lead yet, but it’s rumored to sport a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8660 processor — which we first saw in the T-Mobile HTC Sensation 4G — 768MB of RAM, a 4.3-inch WVGA display, and a 5-megapixel camera. It’s unclear when the Lead will launch, but the device is rumored to run Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread), which could make it the first Gingerbread device on AT&T. There’s no word of HSPA+ support, but we’d be stunned if this device launched without a 4G label glued to the end of its name.

    Even an HTC fan myself is finding this a little ridiculous. Why does each carrier have to have their own different version of essentially the same phone. The AT&T version has the same processor as the Sensation, but a lower resolution screen, etc. etc. Hard to keep up.

      Don’t know why BGR is reporting the Lead, but not the HTC Holiday.  Same leak as the Lead, but the HTC Holiday is the better spec-ed phone…4.5 qHD, 1GB RAM, 8megapixel…

    Ya Droid punks aren’t going anymore!! If apple name is not on it its a piece of sh**!!!! Name 1 is only one Droid phone that has sold more than 4 million!!!!! Or even 3 million!!! Im waiting!!! THAT’S NONE!!!!! iPhone is the ONLY phone to sell those kind of numbers!!! I’m taking about 20 million plus!!! Not all iPhones!!! Just ONE iPhone!!!!! So stop think Droid is better cause it’s not!!! It sucks!!! Ya can have a dual core 2GHz, 2GB of ram and 14MegaP. Camera, and 4.3 OLED screen and still won’t out sell the iPhone!!! So just buy an iPhone!!! We ain’t going anywhere!!! LMAO
