Are people allowed to be disappointed that this isn’t Gingerbread?

    • Anonymous

       Probably.

      I could honestly g.a.f. bout gingerbread… Give me sense 3.0 !

      • Chut Pata

Ofcourse.  People ask for what they do not have.  I need some “gingerbread” and you need some “sense”.

I already updated the OS. Nothing new thats going to make your bolt shine. So far I have only noticed VZ backup assistant, Blockbuster app update and Redbox app.

I got my update. No big deal. No freezing or anything, but still no correction of the internal memory…I talked to an HTC rep the other day, who said he had never heard of the internal memory issue…I hope that when 2.3 comes I will have 8 (probably 6.5 or 7) gigs of internal mem…… No big deal. Dude what does it matter you freakin’ have 32gb of memory anyways?!

    • Dcagle79

I have a thunderbolt, and like you was disappointed that I didn’t have the full 8gb of eMMC. I did however find out that HTC has that partitioned up and has some parts of it digitally locked. Some parts have bloatware on them, and others the OS. While some parts are restricted for storage of apps, pics, etc. Yeah, 8gb of onboard memory would be nice, however, the phone did come with a 32gb data card that I can do as I please.

I am happy to report that the battery life is still about the same. Apps, such as GroupOn, LivingSocial, Verizon App are now stable. I downloaded the Verizon app from XDA, so it was okay about 2 weeks ago. However, Boat Browser that I use is much faster between windows. I highly recommend Boat Browser over the stock browser. You can have up to 8 windows vs. 4 windows. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with this build. Cree

My battery life has been MUCH worse since this update.

    • Mail

Yeah the battery life is about the same, just turn off all the automatic background updates and the phone last 8-10 hours. After update though, my GPS location on Maps now comes up with a resolution of 3500 meters. It used to be 30 before the udate, now with the large of a distance it sometimes thinks I’m in another town. They have ruined the GPS for me, navigation isn’t very good with that bad a resolution.
