HTC ThunderBolt update now rolling out

Verizon Wireless on Thursday confirmed that it is in the process of rolling out an over the air update for its HTC ThunderBolt smartphone. Software build number 1.13.605.7 will improve the ThunderBolt’s ability to move data over Verizon’s 3G network, and it includes messaging improvements as well. Other features listed by Verizon Wireless as being fixed or improved in this update include device activation time, GPS start up time and accuracy, and stability of apps like, Facebook, KAYAK and My Verizon. Users will receive a notification on their devices once the update is available for download.
