RIM and Microsoft announce Bing will power BlackBerry mobile search and maps

mobile

Just moments ago on stage at BlackBerry World 2011, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and RIM co-CEO Mike Lazaridis (no, the other one is also CMO, dummy) announced a strategic mobile partnership with Microsoft (translation: we’re super scared of Andy Rubin). Starting around the holiday timeframe, Microsoft’s Bing maps and search will be the preferred search and mapping solutions for BlackBerry products. We’re talking about a system-level integration, “far beyond a search box,” RIM said. Check out our live coverage of RIM’s BlackBerry World 2011 keynote for more!

I enjoy watching Blackberry fall apart, but they didn’t have to make it this easy. Die Bing die Microsoft

Well Microsoft is pretty much embedded in most technology out there. They’ve had enough time to do it too. Also Microsoft’s anti-trust lawsuit terms come to an end on the 12th of May so it will be interesting to see what comes of it. Back to Conquering the World. It will be very interesting to see what happens when the kid gloves come off.

As I live and breathe, there goes the fat turd Ballmer trying to buy success ad keep his job. After his string of failures in the mobile market (the fastest growing tech market) it’s amazing he hasn’t been fired. Gates doesn’t have the balls to make the board do what’s best for the other shareholders.

Bing is a great … I do not feel it my place to compare Bing and Google. Sick leave this task to the user as each is different. The directions of traffic on foot and diriving are very large. I would like people to try and then decide. people as a herd at times.
