Nokia N8 set to debut in pink with Anna update

mobile

Via its Conversations blog, Nokia has announced the addition of a new color variant to the N8 family, pink. Pictured sporting the upcoming Anna software update — due out in the next few months — the device has the same innards as the original N8 we reviewed back in November. But this time… it’s what’s on the outside that counts. “Following the fantastic response to the range of colors we launched for the Nokia N8, it seemed a natural step to extend this choice,” said Rachael Bell, senior designer at Nokia. “The Nokia N8 in pink complements the original line up well with its expressive, intense hue.” The announcement did not indicate when the new shade would be available for purchase.

I think, they have made the right decision to create a Nokia N8 in pink. Most of the colors previously (and still) available for the device, are somewhat unisex and/or male-oriented. I’m not a girl, though. But having this exclusive offer for women will kind of boost their sales and people’s attraction to Symbian smartphones and the Nokia brand itself. Many of the QWERTY fans may wait for the pink E7 as well—at least, if that’s going to be available..

That’s NOT pink, it’s magenta. Motorola v3 Razr had this colour.

I like the pink/magenta/rhodamine red phone but you’ll have to cover it up with a case because the N8 is like a cube of ice in your hands.
