Shots of possible Motorola DROID 3 leaked

Is the image above the DROID 3? An OEM parts retailer named Global Redirects Parts seems to think so, but it also refers to the device as “Targa.” As we understand it, “Targa” is actually the name for Motorola’s DROID Bionic, due out later this summer, so it’s unclear if this is just a snafu on the retailer’s part. Still, the image does appear to be on a par with other DROID 3 leaked photos we’ve seen. There’s little we can tell from the image other than that the device has a front-facing camera on the top right of the phone, and that it seems to have a slightly larger screen than the DROID and DROID 2. Neither Motorola nor Verizon Wireless have confirmed the existence of this phone, so the DROID 3 remains pure speculation for now. Hit the jump for a few more images.

    Speaking of animals bumbling around, good thing for App App that there are lots of sheep around to buy App App products. Without the undying love of the drooling fanboyz, Apple would be pushing daisies right now.

    For a company that derives 50 pct of its income from the iPhone, it’s shocking that they can’t field a better product this fall.

      Are you mentally retarded? Apple is the largest tech company in the world, WTF do you mean they’re in the grave? Motorola & Nokia (along with their old buddy Microsoft) are dying. Why? Because they got it wrong. Phones do not share the same formula for success as computers. No one gives a shit what the specs are as long as it’s fast, responsive, and it does what people expect. Apple’s done that.

      The specs on the iPhone are not the greatest, but the software makes up for it because it’s fast, responsive, and it does what people want.

      Unlike the Android phones I’ve seen an used, they may have powerful processors, memory, etc. but the battery life is trash and they lag like a bitch.

      Also, Android is a PLATFORM, not a phone. I’m tired of asshole analysts and Android fanboys saying Android is taking over the iPhone. It’s not. The iPhone is a SINGLE PHONE, iOS is a PLATFORM.

      The iPhone is still the #1 selling phone in history and Android isn’t the biggest platform either, Apple still wins and iOS still has about 30-40 million more devices running iOS than Google has devices running Android.

      To all you Android fanboys, get the facts before you open your mouth and spill a bunch of shit and sound like a retard.

        As far as battery goes, mine lasts through a day of constant use, and unlike the iPhone, I can switch out the battery if it dies and I still have things to do with my phone.

    The Targa and the Driod Bionic are two different phones. What is rumored to be happening is that they are having issues with the Bionic that are delaying it and they may scrap it and release the Targa under the Bionic name.

Just look at how many iPhones are in use and compare that to your favorite Android phone, no Android phone comes close to the number of iPhones out there, IOS is on one phone, the iPhone, Android is on multiple phones, so get your facts right, some of you guys sound like fools with the made up facts you spew, oh, I had an iPhone 4, I hated it, I went back to my old Blackberry 9000 and dont care what some nobody cares about my choice.

      Yeah same here!! Freakin my iPhone is amazing, I can customize my screen with a background! Can mix up my apps like crazy! I can pick a ringtone and text alert sound! My camera is freakin amazing at 5MP and my FFC is .3! I couldn’t ask for more. The best part about it is connecting to iTunes for every update! Then waiting about 30 minutes for it to DL and install! :D My most favorite thing about my iPhone is its like playing russian roulette! I never know if my phone will make a call or not SO EXCITING! And now that I know the next model won’t have 4G I won’t have to worry about it going down! I pray to Steve Jobs every night before I go to bed!

    Good, another 4.0″ screen. IMO this is the Sweet spot for smartphone screen size. 4.3″ makes me feel like I’m holding a netbook to my head.
