Fring brings multi-user video chat to Android, iOS [video]

Software

Earlier this month, we told you about Internet voice and video chat company fring and its plans to release a multi-user video chat client. Today, the company announced that both its Android and iOS software bundles now have this new feature. “With fring’s Group Video calling, four fring friends can now share a simultaneous video call, for free, on their mobile phone (on Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G) using fring’s proprietary DVQ technology, that delivers the highest quality video for all four participants,” reads the press release. The apps are ready to be downloaded from the Android Market and App Store. There is an awesomely bad music-video demo thingy waiting for you after the break.

So? If it was not posted here chances are I wouldn’t have read it. As long as they don’t post critical news days late I could care lase for “repeat news”. I don’t have time to check more than 2 blogs for news everyday.

Hey, lay off or go back to reading those other sites. These boys work really hard, especially when it involves crApple in any way. Fact is, there’s just too much tech’ news out there.

I wonder how long this will last… hummm

crApple will probably sue Fring claiming some bogus Intellectual Property violation of it’s FaceGriMe patent. In good faith, I hope the Fring App’ lasts for both platforms; this is long overdue.
