I don’t hate the looks of it. Its different. But how thick is it?

    • Anonymous

      It’s VERY THICK.

    • yanx206

.6 inches thick. Comparable to the OG Droid, which was .54 inches thick.

      Not terrible.

    • Jorgea Garcia

      not thick at all

      • _KC_

I used one recently and yeah, thickness of it was not an issue for me. Felt very solid, naturally.

That actually looks kind of cool. Great for camping, etc. Or you could just get one of the mil-spec cases they make.

      Taken somewhere else: 800 mhz

      • JohnPA2006

800mhz, that was the processor speed for the HTC Merge.
So could this be the guts from a Merge, stuffed into a rugged shell?
Pretty cool if you ask me. Just as long as they didnt BING-a-fy it.

  • Aj_rimmer

Do you have to pay for VZ Navigator to use the GPS?

  • JohnPA2006

I will personally hunt down and pimp slap anyone who buys this phone,
then tries to put it into an Otterbox case.
You know someone out there is going to try and do that.

Or put it in a pink silicone skin.

I want one but a dunno. I have broken regular ruggedized phones at work. The screens are usually their weakest point. Usually those have really small screens. I have to read user reviews to see how these touch screens are holding up in real world conditions.

  • Wow.

This is a really cool phone.

Might pick one up for the GF as she destroys any phone she can get her hands on.

    • Anonymous

yeah im sure she would like that….

  • Holland Judkins

I have this phone and love it.
