It would be great if you Android guys could get around to spelling the short version of “et cetera”, “etc.” which is how people who know how to spell do it.

I would blame it on Android rather than EA

There are no Android games for $.99. It feels a little insulting to those of us with Android devices that the same game is twice as expensive. Also, the sale doesn’t seem to be in the Android market so updates or fixes are unlikely.

It’s unfortunately the law of supply and demand. Android is more profitable than iOS. They’re clearly not making enough money off of iOS, not a surprise considering that the vast majority of iOS apps nickel and dime you to death. It’s more cutthroat in the Apple store, fighting for consumer dollars.

****DON’T BUY ANY EA GAMES FOR ANDROID AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE! IF YOU EVER RESET OR CHANGE YOUR PHONE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RE-DOWNLOAD THEM AND EA TECH SUPPORT FOR ANDROID IS NON-EXISTENT!****

I made the mistake of buying some games during Christmas when they were $.99 and haven’t been able to download them again since replacing my broken Droid X with a new one. Every other paid app I’ve purchased downloaded without an issue but the EA games will not and no amount of contacting EA or Google has gotten a response.

Same thing happened to me when I got need for speed on my x, got new phone and now will have to pay full price again……f ea, no support from them either. Don’t get get burned with this sale.

      Wow that sucks.

That situation is impossible on the App Store, regardless of publisher.

I’ve heard this many times, yet despite trying out custom roms and resetting my phone several times, I am always able to go under “My Apps” in the Market, and it shows that I’ve purchased Need For Speed: Shift and Tetris, and I’m always able to download them again.

Both games are great, btw, I probably play them more than any other games on my phone.

“Skate It” is on sale for 99 cents… Don’t buy it. It crashes constantly. (seriously, you’ll spend more time bebooting then playing.)

I almost bought scrabble for my iPad. However, all reviews very clearly say to avoid it. Saved a dollar!

buy it, you wont be disappointed… it’s one of my favorites…

Anyone willing to buy EA or Gameloft’s crap deserves to get burned. You have to be a bafoon to support those companies.

  • Matthew
