It is only going to cost you $300 on contract.

am i the only one who REALLY dislikes the touchwiz UI?

ohhh and i dont like the hardware for this phone too!

    • Anonymous

No. Not at all. I don’t think the hardware’s too bad, though. The shape of the phone is kind of polarizing, but if the camera’s good and the proc can make it hum… *shrug*

Also, the dual core thing isn’t as significant as you’d think when the damn operating system can’t even take advantage of it yet.

Yeah fair enough, maybe I’m just on the other end of the “hate the hardware spectrum”, and I think if you are going to get a new androidphone on verizon, it is a waste to get a phone now. Either wait for the droid line refresh (new X2, droid3 etc), or the thunderbolt.

I’m with you. My next (hypothetical) phone would be something like the Droid 3 because of the rumors that it’s going to be unmolested Android, or the CDMA equivalent of the HTC Sensation because… I mean, come on. It’s hardware porn.

hahahah $300 is ridiculous for that thing

If I was limited to those 2 phones, I’d definitely pick the one with a reputation for providing updates vs the one that has a reputation for dragging their feet and choosing to ignore updates on purpose in order to sell newer hardware.

I’m leaning towards the iPhone 4G over the
    ThunderBolt¡₣ or Chãrgè.

    • Joehmayfield

      The iPhone 4g doesn’t exist

  • Davis

I didn’t like this at all, really… Droid has usually had pretty cool looking comercials. This isn’t one of them.

  • Rpfarrah

    ….meh

This is a hard one. I like HTC they make quality stuff, but Samsung builds awesome quality phones too. The Fascinate was a mess for me personally. I can’t believe I had to wait this long for 2.2 (updated last night). HTC always had the latest updates on time. I’d have to go with the TB on this one!

  • evilempire

I have a Thunderbolt and I can’t see why someone would pay $50 more for the same phone. Besides HTC Sense kills Samsungs UI everyday!

  • Jfulcher

How about neither. The Thunderbolt is lacking and I wouldn’t buy a Samsung phone to save my life. They just today came out with 2.2 for the Fascinate? seriously? that’s ridiculous.

    • Radgatt

if your life really depended on buying a samsung phone you would be at the front of the line, if not, see you in hell

  • drew dogg

It’s the very first Droid LTE… Droidlanding is promoting all Droids.

  • Synack

If I ABSOLUTELY had to? Charge. Probably better battery life and better screen. But I’m getting the SGS2 no matter what.
