Can’t wait to order yourself the unannounced HTC DROID Incredible 2? The wait may be over. Wirefly is boasting that it will begin offering pre-orders of the updated device at 3:00 a.m. EST tomorrow morning with orders shipping on April 28th. As if that were not enough, the company has also posted an eight-minute “unboxing video” where it showcases the Incredible 2 and its unofficial packaging along with a quick overview of the software. The video is after the break. Have a look, set your alarm clock, and enjoy.

Another DROID that will sell more and better than the iPhone. Score!!

Dumb is right ! You could hear the Verizon message tell him to press 1 to activate the phone and he just thought it would do it on its own. looks nice though.

  • tranquilbeast

if you call the activation # 3 times (*228), it will bypass the activation screen without activating it on an htc

      Good to know
I know you can tap the 4 corners on vanilla

the most stupid unboxing ever. If you don’t have enough information about this phone, then don’t post a video about it. And I agree, the guy was pretty clueless about the activation process.

Wirefly has gone to shit. Ari was the best phone reviewer they had! This moron, and the guy Bob who did the Thunderbolt unboxing are just plain terrible.

Are you kidding me? That was a joke.

wow…not even on wirefly. Im all about being patient, but if you are going to give a specific time and date, it would be wise to follow though otherwise you might lose trust of potential customers!

I truly hate to speak in such a divisive manner, but I really don’t understand all the obsession people have with Android. The Incredible 2 looks almost exactly like the original, looks exactly like the Thunderbolt, essentially has nothing new on the phone except that it has 768MB RAM instead of the 512MB on the original. No change in screen resolution, no change in the user interface, even just a little. And people are going around spitting on themselves from complaining that Apple’s iPhone isn’t original.

Cant see the vid.. its locked up GEY

If a video is private, why is it there?

    • WireflyBob

Sorry… Wirefly had approvals to post this video, then the facts changed and we made the video private. We hope to have this video public again in the next couple of days, as well as more content.

FWIW, the Incredible 2 I have would not get me to the home page by the well-known trick of touching the four corners. It would get me to the home page after trying (and failing) to activate it three times. Thanks for that tip!

It’s my experience that if I get the call response on activation that I received (“Press 1 to activate”) that the phone is not yet activated. Pressing 1 only gets more menus and does not result in the phone being activated… not the sort of thing that makes for good television. The phone is now activated, BTW.
