Jailbreak now available for Apple's iOS 4.3.2 software

mobile

The infamous Dev Team has just released the first publicly available untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 4.3.2. Redsn0w version 0.9.6rc14 will jailbreak the iPhone 4 (GSM and CDMA), iPhone 3GS and iPad, as well as third and fourth-generation iPod touch models. Unfortunately, the iPad 2 still isn’t supported but the Dev Team maintains that it is working on Apple’s latest tablet and we don’t imagine it will take everyone’s favorite iOS hackers much longer. Follow the read link for the Dev Team’s announcement and to download the latest redsn0w build.

    God bless these people.

God loves piracy. Those nasty developers! We must cheat them! Amen.

        Self loathing troll. Love it.

I did the update/jailbreak this afternoon with no problems and it seems like my battery problems have been solved! I’m pleased :D

      Shouldn’t you be in school?

  • Andrew

Yay! More app piracy for poor intellectually challenged people. Praise Zeus!

    • MralisTair

You do realize that jailbreaking != piracy. There are plenty of paid apps and tweaks in Cydia. The purpose is to allow developers to do more, not steal fr them!

Yes, I do realize that, but jail breaking can lead piracy, and it usually does. Your grammar is hideous, and your misspellings are frequent. From a jail-broken device you have the ability to perform piracy. I bet you have some clever arguments that will contain further misspellings.

      • Mralistair

I am interested to know what words you think I have misspelled. In addition, what grammatical constructions do you find poor? Wrt your argument that jailbreaking leads to piracy, it is equivalent to the argument that web browsers could be used to look at pr0n, so only those 18 and older should be able to use web browsers.

Yes, piracy and using uber-advanced features like beaming V-cards, files and other bluetooth features that are Sci-Fi for iOS users.

You are a douche. Most people jailbreak not for stealing software but for unlocking the full potential of their device. My most expensive apps were PURCHASED through cydia. If apple would just allow some of these apps into their app store I would have no need to jailbreak.

I wonder how many posters here have rooted android phones. How does that differ robin hood?

  • Jon

Seriously, these people are saints. Not only for making jailbreaking possible, but for doing it for free. (and even refusing donations)

    • Andrew

      A modern robin hood.

Steal from the poor and give to the selfish user. You, Jon, are a cancer to this Earth. Please, I beg thee, go back to school.

      • DREW J

You need to get laid, ASAP.

      • Jon

Yes, Andrew, Apple is poor… You goofy-ass know-it-all.

      • AbdrewSucks

Lmfao. Without jailbreaking this slab would hardly be enterprise efficient. Could not function without SSH or attachments. And yes drew I pay for the ability.

      • Jon

        What co’s enterprise is jailbreaking?

What company is hiring people who can’t put a comma in a sentence?

    • Mpossoff

      That’s why I give a donation when I jailbreak.

Does this unlock the 4.2.1 baseband?

  • http://theiphonefever.blogspot.com/ Michael Schwartz

    Jail-what?

It’s 2011 you know, there are other phones/tablets out there that umm… just work!

    • Parrde

Unfortunately I can’t have my phone plugged in all day on on a car charger and don’t like a brick in my suit pocket. The second an android based phones comes out with a battery that lasts I am on it like white on rice. Not hat I haven’t tried with Thunderbolt, fascinate, Droid 2 and X.
