First Steve Jobs authorized biography to land in 2012

mobile

The first authorized biography about Apple CEO Steve Jobs is set to launch in early 2012, publisher Simon and Schuster announced on Sunday. The book, titled “iSteve: The Book of Jobs,” was written by Walter Isaacson, who began writing it in 2009. The Washington Post said Isaacson worked closely with Jobs and also interviewed family members, co-workers at Apple, and even those at Apple’s competitors. Isaacson is no stranger to writing; he’s written books about Albert Einstein and Benjamin Franklin, served as CEO at CNN, and worked for TIME. “This is the perfect match of subject and author, and it is certain to be a landmark book about one of the world’s greatest innovators,” said Simon & Schuster publisher Jonathan Karp. “Just as he did with Einstein and Benjamin Franklin, Walter Isaacson is telling a unique story of revolutionary genius.”

Great news for the iFags. Something new to jerk off to.

I don’t get the hate between iPhone users and Android users. Android pushes iPhone, and iPhone pushes Android. They’re different environments for different users. Neither of them is going to disappear, and if they weren’t there to push each other, the result would be a shittier product for whichever side remained because they didn’t have to worry about a competitor.

There’s PLENTY of room in the smartphone market for two or three monster platforms to be wildly successful. The blogosphere likes to play one against the other in a “steel cage death match”, but the reality is that only rabid fanboys take the bait.

I plan to read the Jobs bio on my iPad. I will NOT be jerking off to it. :)

The problem is that Apple sucks. DROID is free and open. So with that being said iPhones control all of the iDouches of this world and DROIDS are for cool people.

droids are for broke ass people that aim at having an iPhone but cant afford it. PERIOD

Well, Android is for smart people, Apple, well, it’s for people.

There will always be a continental divide between the haves and the have nots. Sad reality!

    The Forward will probably read:
I was born in cAliFornia of humble beginnings. Whilst in my 20′s, a VERY GOOD FRIEND AND i were doodling in my garage. We spent countless hours their hiding from the world that rejected us. After years of playing with each other we, then, decided to spend our time more efficiently. So, we decided to do what two boys do when they’re not busy doodling; we decided to build. We had a concept of a “Homo” button which would be the centerpiece of an electronic gadget that we had yet to name; the main idea and purpose of it’s function was to homogeneously group that gadget’s capabilities. I had my own doubts, I must confess. The idea that the world would willingly and openly accept a device with hardware having such implications was just to difficult to fathom. After much debate and careful consideration “my friend” and i decided we would call it the “Home” button but, we were still dumbfounded as to what we would name the gadget itself. I one day told him that iJust couldn’t make up my mind and, that, iFound it extremely hard to conceptualize a finished product that iCouldn’t physically touch. My friend then said, “well, Steve, you may not be able to touch it; what if itouch??” I, of course, said YES!! And, that’s how “my friend” came up with the name; iTook, of course, allllll the credit.

Can I line up around the block and wait for it overnight? Can I wait for the mostly complete version of Eric Schmidt’s biography so I have a choice of biographies to read? Can I remark a the all aluminum construction of Jobs’ book? No? Um, then I’m not sure.

I just bought the unauthorized biography of Jobs titled iCon. Apparently Jobs had a huge fit when this book was first published and till this day he has made sure it would never be available on iBooks. Should be an interesting read. Is there a biography on Wozniak? I find the Woz a real interesting person it would be nice to know more about him.

This Biography isn’t going to be all that interesting, and no new information will be revealed that we all didn’t already know.

Here, I wrote his biography too:

Steve Jobs has been widely cited as being a huge prick.

    The end.

(Go check the web for all the sources of his prickness if you don’t believe me)

I can’t wait for the chapter when he successfully completes the labors of Hercules while temporarily being struck deaf, dumb, and blind. The part when he ends the cold war and invents the first phone with a camera flash and multitasking should also make for some interesting reading.
