Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 now $4.99 in honor of Masters

Gaming

If you’re throwing your chips at the TV wondering why Tiger can’t break into the top five during this year’s Master’s Tournament, then pick up a set of clubs and hit the links yourself. EA has dropped the price of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 to $4.99 — from it’s original $6.99 price – in honor of the Masters Tournament. We wrote up the game’s launch on March 29th and have really been enjoying the gameplay. The graphics have improved vastly from the original and we like the multiplayer option for competing against friends. We’re not sure how long the price drop will remain in effect, though, so jump over to your local iTunes App Store and download a copy. Shoot’em straight.

Not to be an A hole, but you could have put that it was the iOS version in the headline. 5 bucks for an iphone game is alot. 5 bucks for an Xbox 360 game is a steal! So I had to read the ENTIRE post to find that out. Sad clown.

Brian, the post was four sentences. It must have taken you 15 seconds? The horror!

I guess Todd doesn’t watch golf, since Tiger is currently 3rd at the Masters.

…..So basically I read an entire blurb only to find out at the end….I CAN’T USE IT!

This is what they call “bad blogging”. It takes literally a few seconds to type “For iOS” in the main title! Nobody should have to read an entire spill only to find out that they do not qualify at the end.

BGR….let’s improve ourselves! Get off that crap. We all know you love Apple & their products. But damn…you keep sucking on their balls and your mouth might lock up!

Respect us “other” users. You know…Android, BB, etc…

I guess its too hard to even do a quick Google search when writing an article anymore. Tiger is in the top 5 after the 2nd round. Yes I know that it’s not essential to the article but still, take the extra 5 seconds.

What a-holes you android and BB users are … The fact that your OS doesn’t get new games and apps must be really making you bitter. First of all, it’s BGR: why the hell would they post if it was a PS3 game? I’d be more bitter if it was. Second, is Tiger Woods available for BB or Android? Nope, don’t think so. Finally, how long did it take you to read the article? Was it really that difficult?

That was fast: This article was posted 3 hours ago and the app is back up to $9.99.

Actually it’s still $4.99 for the iPod/iPhone version. The HD version for iPad is $9.99.

That’s odd because the link in the story took me to the iPad version. Hmmm…..

      • Dub1ous_one

I guess I should’ve clicked on the link. Although I don’t think the HD version’s original price was ever $6.99, but I could be wrong. Maybe BGR can correct the link as to avoid any further confusion.

It could be my iTunes too. I don’t own an iPhone or iPod touch but I do have
an iPad on order. When I go into the app store in iTunes I have it set to
display iPad specific apps and that might have something to do with it.
