T-Mobile’s HTC HD7 may receive ‘NoDo’ Windows Phone update today

mobile

According to several, leaked internal screen shots obtained by TmoNews, the highly-anticipated NoDo Windows Phone 7 update could begin rolling out to owners of the T-Mobile HTC HD7 smartphone as soon as Today. Users should start seeing a pop-up notification alerting them of the update, at which point they’ll need to connect their phones to a computer and install the update through Microsoft’s Zune Player software. NoDo will bring copy/paste functionality, improvements to Wi-Fi and the camera, along with several speed and performance enhancements. For now this is just a rumor, but it’s entirely possible given that Microsoft began pushing out the NoDo update in Europe last week. We’ll be sure to keep you updated if we hear more on NoDo being deployed to the HD7 today.

    Yeap. Updating mine now.

Spoke too soon, its the Feb. update

  • MoJo

I think the Feb update is necessary for NoDo … so any update from Tmo will involve the Feb update.

Ohh I forgot to mention as well the Feb update is also showing for the Dell Venue Pro as well … just in case some have that phone.

got my update 15 minutes ago, it’s definitely not the NoDo update on my end.

Yup the update pushed out was the Feb update SW Ver 7.0 (7008). The NoDo is the Ver7.0(7390). According to T-mobile they pushed out the NoDo but they were confused when I told them that I got the 7.0(7008). They put me through to HTC, and HTC said that it was MSFT pushing out updates. Long story short – T-mobile thinks that they pushed out Ver7.0(7390) but what was sent out was Ver7.0(7008), there might be a waiting period before the real thing gets to us :( . Got my hopes up for nothing…….

Hmmm got the T-Mobile HD7 update today, phone states version is now 7.0.7008 , but no copy & paste, no option to see MAC address? Looks like I got NoDo ( No do anything more than before). :-) ? Still like WP7 but WM 6.X is still more functional.

Oh well, I hope MS really does have a plan, otherwise, they are going to screw up a market they helped create.
