Firefox 4 leaked a day early, download it now

Software

Firefox 4 has been leaked for Mac and PC a day before the company said it would be officially available. Mozilla promises the user interface in Firefox 4 is sleeker and easier to use, and it enables users to keep open tabs, bookmarks, history, and passwords in sync with other devices running a Firefox browser. Firefox 4 also has a new feature that allow you to drag and drop open tabs into groups that can be arranged and named. The leaked downloads aren’t available direct from Mozilla, so we suppose there’s still a chance the team could pull the launch date tomorrow and issue an RC2 release, but we doubt it. We won’t keep you waiting, though, so hit the jump for a link to download Firefox 4 for PC or Mac.

If you are going to download this from a file sharing sight – you deserve the malware you get with it. Just wait until the official site is updated.

Uh, RC2 was released on the 18th. And if you want the final build, it’s on Mozilla’s ftp servers. BGR is an f’ing joke.

Why would you want this POS when the brilliant Internet Explorer 9 is now out – Seriously.

    • Chut Pata

and why would you want IE9 when Chrome is already there?

I don’t understand peoples fascination with Chrome.

it’s lightweight, easy, some great features without having to download and search for addons. i don’t have one single add on for chrome and i love it more than firefox.

Sorry FF, but my love has gone to Chrome.

    I’ll stick to Chrome, thanks.

Ill download this when it becomes official. IE9 and FF4 are competing for backup browser duties. Chrome has the top spot locked for me.
