Apple issues OS X 10.6.7 update for early 2011 MacBook Pro models

Software

Apple has released OS X 10.6.7 for Mac computers, and it includes some stability, performance, and security enhancements. It also fixes display issues that have been plaguing early 2011 MacBook Pro models. The update should make the Back to My Mac software more reliable, resolves some issues that occurred while transferring files to SMB servers, addresses bugs related to FaceTime performance and the Mac App Store, and improves graphics stability and display compatibility when using your MacBook Pro with an external monitor. The entire update should be roughly 390MB in size and can be downloaded through Snow Leopard’s software update utility.

Dude, if you’re not smart enough to return a computer that’s been malfunctioning since day one, then you need more than a software update.

i’ve only had it a week and yes i know how to find the on button. The point is that Apple products are not perfect and just as buggy at PCs.

Just from personal experience, Apple hardware is plagued with as many problems as any other OEM. The only difference is Apple is better at customer service, but I guess that’s what you pay the premium for.

I’m still waiting for them to own up to selling me a defective 2006 iMac.

The headline here is deceptive in that it suggests this release is limited to 2011 models.
