Images, specs of Verizon’s DROID Incredible 2 leak

Images and specifications of Verizon’s next incredible handset — the HTC DROID Incredible 2 — have made their way onto the Internet. The crew over at AndroidSpin have acquired four images of the device along with a handful of specifications. What can we expect from the DROID Incredible 2? The site’s source asserts that the DI2 will have a 4-inch Super LCD WVGA display, 1GHz Qualcomm MSM 8655 processor, 4GB of on-board storage, 768MB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear-facing camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, 1450mAh battery, and Gingerbread (Android 2.3) with the Sense UI experience. The site notes that the handset is currently running Froyo (Android 2.2), but expects the device to ship with the updated operating system. No word on when, exactly, we might see this handset hit store shelves. Follow the jump to view a few more images of the device.

        This site should be all DROID rumors and news. One of the many DROID manufactures has a big press conference every week and BGR never covers it.

      Phone looks ok but seems a little weird they didn’t include dual core.

        That’s a good question. It is a waste of time. They used to get exclusives,
        now it’s just editorials about iProducts and regurgitated Android news. Late
        in the day is one thing, but 4 days late? Anyway, most people do not need
        dual cores. Besides, this is an Incredible rehash. No Lte either.

    Just want to know how are they going to make this a upgrade and put less on board storage you are you go up not down for an upgrade.

    I agree, the 4GB’s of storage sounds a little sketchy. I would be surprised and disappointed with anything less than 8GB’s at launch. One more thing, I have been observing a pattern with VZN phone pics being leaked, then taking forever to release the phone. Building massive hype. Great marketing scheme that dates back years. Shits got old V.

    I’m not impressed at all its a evo with a little more memory not a 16+gig rom no dual core processor HTC you have been evolving a little slow here!!!!!! I love HTC but it seems like they don’t want to move up they are just running in place mean while everyone else is taking it to the next level!!!!!! Come on 4gig rom?

    I see it has those weird disappearing buttons. Seems like a decent upgrade from my droid incredible (1)
    one year contracts are the best.

    Everything ISN’T the EVO…The evo needs to explode! I hate apple but im even more tired of everything being compared to EVO.

      I do love my Dinc, but the EVO is the grandfather of all htc 4g phones, they have basically all adopted it’s style 4.3″ screen, kickstand, 4g innards…The EVO was definitely a huge step, but since then there’s only been small changes.

      Phone companies need to be innovative rather than just making small changes. Google should be pushing manufacturers to include NFC chips into all new android phones. Then it might we worth it to others to build out the infrastructure needed to take advantage of the possibilities that NFC provides.
